Today, we’re coloring Salt-n-Pepa (and Spinderella) from the Hip Hop Coloring Book!

But we’re trying something new! Since this coloring book has designs on the front and back of each page, I can’t use markers because it bleeds through and ruins the page on the other side. I wasn’t thinking when I colored the Snoop Dogg page and realized after that the other side was Wu-Tang and it was ruined. 🙁

So, we are using these Ticonderoga Colored Pencils. I’ve had these for a loooong time, but have hardly used them. That is about to change because I really enjoyed using colored pencils for this page! I didn’t find this particular set on Amazon when looking today, but here are some other options.

I think one of the things I like was that they were organized and I could quickly find the color I wanted. I spend a lot of time looking for colors when using the Ohuhu markers, but that just tells me I need to get a marker organizer.
